The Banque Populaire Group successfully blends the cooperative culture of
the Banque Populaire network of local banks with the international culture
of Natexis Banques Populaires.
- The 20 Banque Populaire regional banks, CASDEN Banque Populaire and Crédit
Coopératif, local retail banking specialists and the shareholders of
Banque Fédérale des banques Populaires represent the Group's
cooperative dimension.
- Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires, is the federal dimension.
As the Banque Populaire Group's central body and the holding company of Natexis
Banques Populaires, it is responsible for overseeing, coordinating and leading
all Group activities. This structure eases the integration of new partners,
such as Crédit Maritime Mutuel, for which Banque Fédérale
des Banques Populaires became the central body in August 2003.
- Natexis Banques Populaires, provided the listed-company dimension. Quoted
on the Premier Marché of Euronext, it is the Group's financing, investment
banking and service bank. The 2002 acquisition pf Coface has expanded the
bank's service offering to corporate clients, as well as extending its geographic
reach.
