Retail Banking
This sector covers the broad range of services to personal customers. Retail Banking is focused on the provision of mortgages, retail savings, current accounts and personal loans. To provide the full range of personal financial services products we have a number of partnerships with market leading suppliers. We provide Legal & General life assurance and long term investment products and have a partnership with MBNA for the provision of credit cards. We also provide general insurance products in partnership with a number of leading suppliers.
Wholesale Banking
Wholesale Banking provides services for our commercial customers. Wholesale Banking is focused on four core product lines. Our cash business provides cash handling for retailers and other corporates and cash sales to the Post Office and to other financial institutions. Our business banking provides services for medium and small business through the telephone and the internet, as well as access to around 17,000 post offices across the UK where they can deposit their takings. Commercial lending provides finance for existing business customers as well as focusing on specific asset finance sectors.
