new marketing strategies and maintenance of the installed product base.
BANKING SOLUTIONS
banking terminals (specialized printers, check image processing, etc.), for
which Olivetti boasts more than 30 years experience and historical leadership
in the sector (70% of the market), automate teller services for the principal
banks of the world .
RETAIL SOLUTIONS
the offer in the Retail market includes specialized printing peripherals designed
to satisfy the needs of single store outlets and large distribution. Furthermore,
amongst the solutions presented by this Division stands out the Shop Automation
offer, a complete system which aims to transform the point of sales in a distribution
centre for services, aimed at both the requirements of the client and the
shop owner.
POSTAL SOLUTIONS
the System Division also counts more than 100.000 peripherals installed in
post offices around the world: Italy, France, Denmark, Austria and Brazil
are just some of the countries which have chosen Olivetti specialized printers
to handle and automate counter transactions.
INK-JET TECHNOLOGY
Olivetti I-Jet is the Olivetti Tecnost Group Company fully dedicated to the
research, development and production of ink-jet technology. It is the only
European company (and one of five worldwide) to run a full-cycle ink-jet production
process and to develop all related components, from inks to printheads.
MEMSOlivetti I-Jet, thanks to the huge technological know-how and big investments
in sophisticated equipments for the silicon foundry, is strongly focused on
MEMS (micro-electrical-mechanical systems), new advanced frontier of the hi-tech
applications.
